Oh - lmao about your conversation with the H&K rep.

The 94 is nice but I'm pretty content with my .308 FN-FAL.
Ooooh a Browning O.O <3 The FAL is a tried and true design. I've always wanted>

Appearently my Great Grand Mother, I think, used to carry a pistol alittle larger than the size of my thumb in her sock. Don't mess the Granny.

ok i didnt really notice if this guy defended himself or not, but with this "But here’s where we disagree: I take issue when you characterize the Glock as little more than a “novice-gun.” I don’t think it’s the best pistol out there but I’d certainly consider it one of the best."

someone with little to no experiance could pick up the glock xx and probobly fire it with minimal problems, so from that aspect glocks are 'novice' guns.

but its true its all about personal preferance. and even today youl probobly still see the M1911 in some special forces

but personally id prefer the
H&K MK23 SOCOM
IMI Desert Eagle .50AE
M1911

Id rather have a H&K PSG1 over the MSG90

or barret M82

but thats just me

all you gun enthusiasts with your fancy words and customization and whatnot...i have a rubber band gun....can i be in the club too? it shoots real far and if u get close enough to the person, and he has no shirt on, sometimes you can leave a red mark.

If I were you, I'd attach one of those laser pointers to it.... that'd be pretty slick. I really would.

You know, this whole discussion reminds me of the epenis game. In the end, all that matters is where you deliver your projectile. Having been in a number of very bad situations in the past, I can tell you that all the schmanzy-panzy stuff on the uber-guns is worth zipp if you cannot get the gun to deliver. On that note, I will continue to carry my Glock 30 and hope that it will only have to come out for my weekly practice. So long ...

No offense taken.
I accept that many people assume that gun enthusiasts are dangerous people.

But if, by chance, some disaster were to occur (like maybe a flood?) and looting were rampant - folks like you (and the rubber band boy) will still be welcome to seek shelter in my home.
You'll have a roof over your head, protection, food, clean water and medical care (I'm a practicing physician) in as much as I can provide.

I'd be scared but I am in a 3 story tall apartment building so atleast me on the bottom floor won't have my roof ripped off. But besides I am in California I have to worry about earthquakes and fires.

Actually I'm in California, too. The same applies for earthquakes, brush fires, mudslides and riots (e.g. Rodney King).

you obviously havent seen me handle a rubber band gun. i am THE DEADLIEST MAN ON THE PLANET with a rubber band gun in my hands. ive also been known to be quite proficient with water grenades as well. a few of my friends and i formed a militia in which we performed guerilla warfare on passing cars. ahh good times....anyway, i bet i could hurt you more with my ruber band gun than they could with their glocks. and it would be legal too. so hmph.

PS attached a laser pointer to my RBG(rubber band gun).

Edit: maybe the text under my name could say rubber band boy instead of quiet traveler or w/e.

Nothing wrong with that man. The one thing that sucks about a CCP is summer. When it's hot, dressing to carry sucks. My Bobcat fits the bill nicely.

As for Glocks? I've only ever shot 1 Glock (.45) and I didn't like the feel. Still, from what I hear about them, I'd never call them a novice gun. I doubt I'd call any gun a novice gun (Well, maybe my Bobcat... it's pretty damn simple). I'm not nearly as into these things as everyone else seems to be, but after trying out a few high dollar pistols, I ended up buying a cheapo P-89 by Ruger. It has a great feel when I grip and shoot, and so far it has eaten any brand 9mm ammo I've fed it with no hiccups (including Wolf). The only thing I don't like about it is when I try precision shooting. The stock sights are too sloppy, but I don't plan on entering any competitions.
